Anesthesiology
& Pain Management

Anesthesiologists are physicians who have undergone four years of postgraduate training after medical school to acquire expertise in evaluation and management of patients in need of surgery as well as acute and chronic pain management.

Acute management includes relief of pain during labor and after surgery.

Chronic pain problems are managed in the Lakeview Medical Center Pain Clinic in coordination with anesthesiologists from the Pain Clinic of Northwestern Wisconsin.
