Position Description
The staff nurse is a registered professional nurse who is responsible for direct and indirect coordination and provision of nursing care for patients as well as the direction and supervision of other licensed or unlicensed personnel assigned to the unit.

Qualifications

1.       Current Wisconsin license with renewal as dictated by the State of Wisconsin.

2.       Must have at least one year of recent clinical nursing experience, preferably in medical/ surgical nursing.

3.       After two years of clinical experience in the home care/hospice department, must prepare for and successfully pass the Certification for Hospice and Palliative Care Nursing exam

Normal Work Schedule
Available to work 9 hour shifts – daytime hours, with rotating weekends.  Must be able to travel within a 40 mile radius of the hospital.
