Position Description
Product expert for clinical systems and how they are integrated with user workflows. Primary customer contact for all issues with application software including questions on best practices, integration with departmental workflows, technical capabilities, planned upgrades, deployment and problem identification/support. Ongoing responsibility for one or more applications within a line of business or across multiple lines of business (HIS, EMR, care management, etc.). Primary responsibility for the I.S. interface with our users and for maintaining relationships with application developers and vendors. May function as a project analyst and/or project manager on selected projects, application refreshes, new software releases, scheduled maintenance, or general system upgrade activity for supported systems. Participates as an application and business process expert on project teams.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree required, degree in Information Systems and/or Healthcare preferred.

Experience
Minimum of two years experience in the IS field with responsibilities in applications, project management, analysis, healthcare related IS preferred.  Experience working in acute care setting preferred within I.S. or clinical support.

Normal Work Schedule
Monday through Friday schedule
